Just to add MDI also works with Swing, you just need it coding in with VCDS for it to work. And this is a very good price for this unit.

Ok. Another dumb question. I've just picked up a Bolero that I'll be installing instead of my Stream. What additional functionality does this kit give over the aux port in the armrest? Thanks

Eddie - does fitting/installing this require any vcds coding ?

Mfsw is higher on my priority list (if I can find one for my vrs) but this seems like a good deal and might consider it if it doesnt need coding

It is difficult to answer if it needs coding

 

Sometimes they work fully without coding and I've had cases where 2E had to be ticked in the gateway to get them to work

 

Either way if you intend to get a MFSW that will need coding
