Yip it's a sensor that sits between dash and pillar .

It's the same idea as a set up I had on my mk1 fabia that gave me coming home lights that was made by the electrical guru who is Karl Korban .

But with being canbus I couldn't get it to work .

Does the sensor work ok up there? The instructions say on the dash
