HU Change and iPod Sony adaptor

Hi,

Am thinking about changing the factory fit HU in my Fabia vRS to a Sony CDX-R6550 with a Connects2 ipod adaptor. Think the Sony will blend in with the dash and will not be too chavtastic :cool: Comments? The remote joystick on the Sony is also much better than any other make.

Has anyone got the connects2 ipod adaptor? If so, is it any good?

Can someone confirm that I will need the following components to replace the factory HU:

1. Aerial amplifier.

2. Wiring adaptor from bluespot.

3. Facia adaptor.

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
