Name that hose, or rather do you know its dimensions?

Featured Replies

Having a poke around changing oil and such today and noticed a small split in this hose.  If you know what its called or have a part number that's great, but I suspect its just a kind of joiner piece that doesn't have its own title.  I therefore wonder what its internal diameter is?  So I can get a replacement from suitable material, I didn't want to take it off to measure as the split appears to go under the clamp, I didn't want to lose what integrity it had left and have a car I can't use so I left it on.  Its the bottom hose below the brake booster(?) into the intake manifold, that little 2" or so section.

As always any help greatly appreciated

Change it to silicon and follow the guides on here and hook it up to a catch can. These pipes always split.

I have a catch can ready to go on but I didn't think that was one of the pipes that got removed? Thought it was the y pipe and the lower breather. Plus for now I just need a quick fix. Do you know what internal diameter that section is?

Is it ok to just do the simple part 1 of the breather system simplification and the catch can, without doing sai, n249 etc?

Mind you, still need an internal diameter for the replacement hose to brake servo and that little piece into manifold.

I'll have a measure of the pipe I used.

Yes it is possible to do as I did that too then removed the rest at a later date.
