V12 Maps update

Featured Replies

Yo!

How long should the V12 maps update take? This is the first time I've done a maps update and there's no progress bar or ETA :( I know it's doing something as when the eject button is pushed I get a message about not stopping the process.

Thanks guys :)

We had the Superb updated at the dealer the other day (FOC) to V10, I think... Took about 2 1/2 hours.

Blimey! Good job not going out today then ;)

V10, that's a little behind isn't it? :S :S

Considering the car is 5yo and has never been updated (still had 4 digit postcode lookup!) and it was a friendly gesture (read: free) I'll take what they had!

Mine took around an hour, normally after a while if you push the eject button you get the message about not stopping and a progress bar appears.

Ah, okies. :)

More than 40 minutes (my drive home) less than an hour (went and checked and it had finished). When you get the message, there's a progress bar too isn't there?

Ok, I think mine too around an hour to complete, all-in. The system says it's on 8195 now and if I put the disc back in.....nothing happens, so I assume there's some version checking in there somewhere.

Now, if I can just get the sodding firmware to update.....keeps getting stuck on radio update. Oh and it want's to update DAB too, which I'd be happy with, except I don't have DAB :(

See your other thread for my update about the 5274 firmware, there are some dodgy ones around. The DAB update file will be skipped if, like me, you don't have a DAB radio.
