Oil blowing past filler cap seal

Featured Replies

Having a problem with oil blowing past seal on the filler cap. Thought it was just seal so replaced it but it's still doing it.

I've been told it cold be the breather which I'm assuming is pipe from the front of rocker cover to turbo inlet.

Turns out it was the turbo pipe where it goes on to the EGR valve blowing oil on th rocker cover.

After thinking engine was shot after fitting new turbo and inter cooled I payed a hours labour for a mechanical to check breather system and look at a few other bits. He found the split pipe I missed as had another person to rev engine and check all the turbo pipes.

This was the offending pipe that comes from plastic pipe at back of engine into EGR valve.
