Hi all,

I bought a new Fabia VRS 2 weeks ago but I have a few problems you guys and girls might be able to help with.

Problem 1 - ABS & ASR light stays on sometimes at the start of ignition, but not always. If I turn the ignition off again it generally goes away. Any help?

Problem 2 - When coming to a standstill I can hear something grinding (not very technical, sorry) from the engine, it stops after about 5 seconds, but is doing my head in!. Any advise would be great.

Apart from the above I love the car to bits, don't miss the 172 cup at all.

both 1+2 sound like a abs issue, back to skoda they will be able to sort it. are there any lights on the dash other than the ones mensioned?

Yeah, i get this too, just decided to ignore it, it's done it from new. Now done 6000 so don;t suppose it's too serious
