Inlet Manifold Flap Valve

Featured Replies

Hi all. having problems with my anti shudder valve. Wont close when I shut down engine. I have a replacement part and connected it up today to no avail. problem still there. I didnt actually fit it onto the car in case I had to send it back, just connected it with the wiring connector. Does anyone know if you have to actually fit it for it to work or should it work just being connected.  Failing that, I think the next port of call will be the selenoid. Can anyone tell me where it is. I have tried following wires but they disappear into the deep labyrinth of wires and cabling etc. Thanks.

Sorry. Car is octavia 1.9 tdi  05 reg

when the part fails it blows a 10 amp fuse in the engine fuse box, thats the reason your new part isnt functioning, you need to replace this and clear codes then it should work fine
