Need special 'T' nuts

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a supplier (preferably UK based) of nuts like these?

Not sure exactly what sizes yet (but will be quit small), but can't find very many on the Internet.

Aren't these flanged nuts ?

What will you be using them for & what sizes do you need?

Are they not sleeved nuts?

I Googled 'T nuts' and found these pictures, but I've no idea what they are called.

I'll measure up later, but the hole they need to fit in is about 5mm. Head needs to be wider, but quite thin. Thread I don't know, but the bolt is not that much smaller than the hole.

The hole appears to be 7mm diameter.

The metal plate with holes in is 2mm.

The bolt thread is (I think) M5. At least an M6 nut is too big and slips on just clipping the threads.

The flange / head needs to be up to 15mm diameter (i.e. 4mm bigger than the hole on each side) otherwise it overlaps the edges of the metal plate..

Any thoughts? I only need three, but would buy a few spares as well.
