Removing 12v socket in centre console

As usual, apologies if this is covered somewhere - had a quick look and couldn't see it.

Is there a relatively idiot-proof, warranty-preserving way of popping the 12v socket out from the console, please? Suitable for someone who's reasonably capable of following instructions but doesn't have any specialist tools, I mean...
