Hopeful Superb owner

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a newer car (curently driving a very boring Corolla) and I have it narrowed down to a 2012 superb combi 2.0 diesel elegance model cappuccino with cream interior. Or a ford mondeo titanium. The more I compare the cars the more I'm veering towards the superb. I thought an estate car would be the ultimate death knell for me...married, kids, sensible car etc but I think the superb is a beautiful looking car.

I've 2 kids and I'm a musician so I need a good boot space but I need something comfortable for long journeys. I'm even looking at the automatic version of the superb especially for long journeys. I'm not convinced on this yet as I've always driven manual and I'm afraid in case there's not enough "pep" in the automatic.

I can't find a model here in Dublin so will probably have to travel to the UK to test drive. Just looking for some feedback on owners on the superb and everyday usage. Many thanks in advance for your advice.
