Controlling iPod with steering controls on 2015 superb elegance

Featured Replies

Am I correct in thinking that the only way to do this is by fitting the skoda mdi unit ? I can link it via Bluetooth or aux socket but not control it.

Possibly upgrading the bluetooth module might do it if the ipod supports that function, but on a 2015 car I would have thought this would already work. I had track names and steering wheel controls work perfectly over bluetooth to my phone on a 2014 Yeti courtesy car I had. MDI gives you a USB connection so you can charge as well as play music from devices.

I'm thinking I will go mdi to keep my iPod charged. I think it's a fixed price at the dealers.
