Bye bye VRS

Placed order for my new car, unfortunately had to say goodbye to Skoda as the value is not just there anymore.

Got a PCP deal on a C250 Sport estate for just marginally more than what a VRS Tdi estate would've been, which made it a no brainer for me.

Also felt to sit in there wasn't enough difference between my mk2 and the mk3 to warrant the additional £.

Shame I would've had another and would recommend the car, may have been swayed to a Superb 3 but no orders being taken at present and no doubt will be limited deals initially.

Just have to wait for factory to schedule the build before getting an idea on delivery, luckily well versed in waiting for build dates from my mk2 experience.

I too fear I will be drifting away from the Skoda brand in the not-too-distant future, still great cars but they now also have the prices to match!

 

I hope you went for Mercedes' version of Race Blue

Nice looking Scout by the way, loving the later alloys. Plenty of options too, front parking sensors, heated seats, silver roof rails etc.
