Inlet Manifold

Featured Replies

Hi quick one, I have a 2008 vrs PD170 BMN with the plastic inlet manifold and it's weeping oil on one side. So considering upgrading for the metal 1 as I've heard it's more reliable. Is this the part number 03G129713H

Also it'll be second hand so is it worth replacing the internals, flaps and motor. Cheers

Did you do this swap?

I thought the whole point of upgrading to the metal item was to remove the flaps etc?

Hi yea I swapped it, you need the flaps it helps with fuel mixture at idle. Easy swap but do need to either replace or use washers when fitting lower bolts as the are a lot longer. Also need different brackets if you wanna use engine cover.
