Inforad camera detector

Featured Replies

Has anyone got one of these? I was talking to the chap who came to mend our garage door yesterday and with the Blackline sat there all nice and clean in the garage we had a good chat on cat related stuff while he fixed our up and over garage door. He has one of these and thought it was brilliant for letting him know where the camera sites were while travelling between customers. On the face of it there's free location upgrades, which seemed a bonus to me. Thoughts?

I have an Inforad K1 which is the size of typical USB stick comes with lifetime updates and I find it extremely good :)

Especially in Europe and particularly in France where such devices are illegal and these are easily removed if stopped.

The battery life is approximately 4-hours and can recharge via. USB port on your PC or a mains charger.

The K3 is an updated version of the K1, go for the deluxe package to get the mains charger and case to keep the device in.

I've also had their M1 system fitted to a motorcycle and that is also brilliant!

Chuffin ek I didn't realise it was THAT much! Looks like anyone who would buy one of those is way beyond my payscale! I thought about buying one of the Inforads for SWMBO as she's already done a speed awareness course after we'd had a barney about me buying my 1st Octy so she's still within the 4 year window and is always late....

For the low price of an Inforad what is there to lose?

You obviously don't understand how these work, they display a Green LED when they are on and have secured the GPS Signal, when you enter the vicinity of a know speed camera the LED changes to Red and you get a bleep; if you are travelling faster than the speed limits the LED changes from a steady Red to a flashing Red with an continuous audible warning which ceases as soon as you reduce your speed to the speed limit; so nothing really to fixate on really, you can drive to the sound unless looking at LED's is your thing  ;).

You can also adjust the distance prior to the alarm being raised and for how long in distance the warning lasts and you decide which countries you require for both fixed and mobile camera locations you require.

If you have more than one vehicle just purchase additional clips and move it from vehicle to vehicle it is highly portable and there is no wiring to worry about!

I stand by my initial response I find them brilliant and for £39.99 for the standard or £49.99 for the deluxe I don't think that you can go wrong!   :)

Rather spend £40 on penny sweets ;)

That's a lot of penny sweets and think of the possible dentist bills, however each to their own the world would be really boring if we were all the same ;)

PS I might be tempted if we were talking wine gums though.
