EGR remap & air conditioner

Featured Replies

Some guy (sort of professional) mapped the EGR out for my car on Monday. After that job done I felt that there's something wrong with air conditioner. It's not as effective as it was before. After several rides I'm sure that something is not right. Usually it took like 5 minutes or so for the air to get cold but now it takes much more.

My question - does EGR affect air conditioner (I think that it has got it's own motor but I might be wrong)? Could there be something done wrong while mapping? Or maybe it's just a coincidence? This air conditioner does weird sounds sometimes but somehow everything was fine till right now.

An EGR mapout shouldn't affect your air, but I don't know how good your mapper is.

Well, I have heard lots of good reviews about this guy. Seems like he's doing it right. Sure, everyone can make mistakes...

Possibly, it's only a coincidence and it would have gone even without that mapping...
