Powerflex pff85-502 vs pff85-502g

Featured Replies

I'm looking to change my wishbone bushes and I've already bought the powerflex front inner bushes but I'm struggling to make a decision on which rear bushes, I understand that the 'g' bushes give a camber adjustment but is this really noticeable on road driving compared to the standard upgrade bush? Fitting times/tools aren't an issue as I'm a mechanic but I'm keen to hear people's thought on which one to go for.

The G gives caster adjustment and anti-lift.

For camber adjustment you need the PFF85 - 501g on the front.

personally, I'm not convinced about the values of anti-lift but that's an armchair view.  OTOH, a mate fitted the whiteline caster bushes to his Polo last week and he's in heaven.  He reckons it turns in a lot better with less angle needed on the steering wheel.

A cheaper fix might be the SuperPro bushes which fit in the OEM console housings.

Personally, I fitted complete alloy arms & bushes off an Audi S3 and am very happy.

If you fit the 502g to the rear do you need to fit the 501g to the front as I've already bought the standard 501 bushes.

I doubt it.  They'd be to "correct" two different issues.  Best people to ask for a definitive answer would be Powerflex themselves
