Returning to a Mk3..heated screen?

Long time, no visit!

About a year ago, I left my job having just taken delivery of a 1.4TSi DSG Elegance Estate (which didn't please them much as it was on a 3 year lease), so back went the car.

A year later, I'm back there again (grass, greener, etc) and soon I get to choose a car for myself instead of the pool car I have at the moment.  My old Octy is still on the fleet, but although the intention of the company was to have it back again, the current driver of it likes it so much, he's keeping it..

So - I now see Elegance has gone, SE L seems to have replaced it (along with the addition of the L&K).  The engine has got anther 10PS and the CO2 has dropped!  I originally got an Elegance to get the dual zone climate, but as that's now standard on the SE, I'm thinking of dropping down a trim level - and going to a hatch as well (the Estate was almost too big!).

Playing around on the configurator last night with colours (never really liked the Race Blue as much as I did on the Fabia TBH) and it allowed me to select a heated windscreen for the 1.4TSI (as long as I added seats and washers) - which according to the brochure is only available on diesels and vRS TSI.  Another glitch (like there haven't been a few of those in the past!), or can you actually add the heated windscreen on the 1.4 TSI now??
