plus a set of plates the transfer fee is payed u'll need your log book,  m.o.t and retention certificate all present send them off in the post or pop to your local dvla (which is easier as its done then and there) no fee

there are no DVLA offices anymore and now to retain or assign a plate you do it all online, it works surprisingly well too, logbook guaranteed in 4 days
