Hi everyone...

now.. i know 1.4 mpi is sllloooooowww however i have had the car for about 6 months, bought it used Y reg.. but having driven my friends 1.4 Corsa and 1.2 8v Fiat Punto is seems really really slow... the response when i pull away and accelleration is delayed before i get anywhere by a good half a second...

Any ideas????

same here, its normal, its a bigger car and the delay is the fly by wire, i h8 it too

Even If it Had A Quick Throttle The Engine is Quite Weak and An Old design, I Have driven a 1.0 Car that was sprightlier, even at motorway speeds. I Find Mine To be So Slow. The Secret to the 8v Is To Red Line it in every gear and at any speed all the time )(Forever)
