Octavia mk 2 Rear anti roll bar issue

After having the car into a local back street garage .i was told the rear anti roll bar had broken ,so i phoned the dealers and it's £130, the problem is i'm gonna change for another octavia about October so a cheap repair would suit .i have found a one that might fit but i need someone to confirm i currently have a octavia 2006 estate from reading different ads on ebay would a vw golf mk6 roll bar fit thanks in advance..

mkV or Mk6 will fit - make sure you get the  D-rubbers.

 

If you're turning over the car soon I wouldn't even worry if it was a GTI / vRS or one of the other models.

 

Why don't you give a shout out on the forum and ask if anyone's got a spare laying about.  You could have my old one but postage from AU would kill it.

Thanks or the reply i have now got one i paid £50 with postage ,sadly the week before on ebay they where selling for £17 it came yesterday and is in great condition it did come with the 2 big brackets the guy fitting knows i'm getting shot just typical so now i'm looking for a Skoda superb tdi estate  :notme:
