Hi,

Does anybody know how to take out the glovebox shelf in the Fabia?

I've tried a little gently persuasion, but didn't want to break anything due to hamfistedness!

If you mean the plastic tray hiding the "secret compartment", I don't think you can as it's hinged at the back. I certainly couldn't find a way when I was trying to clean out the North Wales mud from a certain Devon-shire lad's glovebox

I thought as much, shame really, as with it out it would be a nice big glovebox.

Might me worth taking the whole thing out and having a closer look.

T'is hinged! Don't know how to take it out, but I think the rubber insert lifts out for cleaning (if that's what you want to do).

I was hoping to remove it to make the most of the glovebox space, I'll have to have a close look at it.

I still wonder how the hell it got in there? Oh, IIRC the glovebox door may have been wide open when we were trailering it back from N.Wales, and it was being towed pointing backward, with a blown out rear window, and it was crappy weather.
