Bilberry Wheel cleaner, Still any good or is there better ?

Featured Replies

As above,

Also using Collinite 845 Insulating wax to seal, anything better these days ???

Hi David

Bilberry Wheel cleaner is very good indeed...also there are Iron out products that remove brake dust...Turn them red

Like most products, there are many to choose from....so listen to other recommendations here too..we all have our favourites

Collinite 845, is one of my favourite waxes and extremely durable

So....Stick with what you have...would be my recommendation

I use "Bilt Hamber" Auto wheel , think its about £12 a ltr bottle and it stinks lol   but its very good , i have used Iron X and i think the Bilt Hamber is as good

I tend to start with autosmart stuff to get worst off

Follow up with iron-out

Then if there are any tar spots which occasionally can happen, a little bit of tardis.  have to be careful using that on damaged wheels though.

+1 for bilberry

bought our lass a golf that had what appeared to never had its wheels cleaned

left it to dwell for 5 milnutes rinsed and repeated this time with a brush to agitate

90% of gunk off

got a few days off coming soon so i'll iron x then go over them again if required

on my roomster which has been looked after its a case of spray then rinse spotless

and it smells nice too
