Fabia drivers seat positioning

Featured Replies

Morning everyone hope all is well ? Just a quick one as I'm sure some of you shall be able to help me ...

I have had my new fabia about a month or so now and I love it to bits, wouldn't change it for the world but something is started to bug me and that is the drivers seat position ... I just can't seem to get comfy when driving. I'm changing the seat position daily so it's getting rather annoying now, what are your positions maybe I could give those a shot .... I have to have the seat positioned about half way on the runners as the fabia is fitted with hand controls so if I went any closer my legs catch when entering and exiting the vehicle. Also I'm fed up of having my seat really reclined back as it's in the way of leg room for rear passengers.

Sorry it's a long one but hopefully you fellow members can help ... Pics would be great too

Many thanks ... Take care

Ash

I have a Mk2 not a new Fabia, and i have an artificial leg and every car i get in has the seat fully back on the runners,

I use the Standard throttle always never converting my cars so that its easier to just drive others cars as well,

but i am driving with my left foot on Brake & Throttle, so need to sit a bit at an angle.

So always seat fully back, then i adjust it, Sometimes the Seat, sometimes the steering wheel sometimes both, sometimes many times a day,

and in almost every Skoda and other cars, i have a Sciatica Cushion i use behind my back or under me to have the comfort i want.

If driving a car regularly i put that under a seat cover so it stays in place,

other wise i just adjust the seat and cushion as needs, longer journeys being more important than short ones with me,

but then it also depends on wearing jackets or not, so time of the year.
