Armrest angle/level broken

Hello

The armrest between the front seats has a function to fine adjust the angle you know you pull it all the way down and then just a small bit up to get a comfortable height on it.

This is not working now after I lay all my weight on it getting into the car.

I managed to get the diplay of on the back an there underneath I found this small metal piece that's broken. Does anyone know if this is something to repair or what parts to get and how to do it?
