Myself and a fellow Briskodian are going to do some videoing of a Fabia Octavia shootout. We're planning on using digital stills cameras to record the action, these will produce adequate AVI files.

What is the best software to use for editing these and joining clips together?

Adobe Premiere?

Big for Premier. Use it for streaming avi from my camcorder and it can cope with gigs of video easily
