Sorry been a hideously long time since I posted. Thinking of a fabia with Amundsen sat nav, but the configurator says it's only a 5.8" screen, against the boleros 6.5" screen. It that right? On pictures it looks the same, just with different button names.

As an aside, am I right in thinking the new Amundsen is s re badged vw discover sat nav? In which case it would be a 6.5" screen?

Could anyone enlighten me/measure their Amundsen and let me know?

I can't confirm for you - but I was told it was 5.8" also.

The Octavia brochure has a breakdown of the specs of Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus systems and the screen size and resolution for Bolero and Amundsen is identical at 6.5

I'm pretty sure that the mention of 5.8 is an error. All the pictures suggest that it is exactly the same screen as the Bolero. I've ordered Amundsen and initially wondered exactly the same thing.
