Copying a SIM Card content

Featured Replies

So i'm tired of having phone bills. at least, big ones.

I'm using Skype increasingly for calls to mobiles, simply becaus it's about 10p per minute cheaper than using my phone. The irony being it's cheaper still for me to call my friends mobile in malaysia than it is to call my friends in the uk......

And now i want to cut my text bills too. I'm being given one of those O2 "x" free texts sim cards, and now need to just work out....

Easiest way to copy all my contacts from my existing phone/sim and put them on the new one when it get's here?

then i buy a chatboard and away i go (no more thumb-itus or RSI!)

go to aldi.... they have a sim "copier" for

I downloaded all my contacts / phonebook to my pc.... and then when I got a new phone, just uploaded em onto it :)

All it took was bluetooth and the right software for my phone.... although I've done it before using a data cable too.

Aldi, eh? Hmm........might see if Maplin do something similar - they're nearer at the moment.

I've got them all on PC too, but the hitch is the phone i'm stuffing the O2 card into doesn't have Bluetooth, and, as this is a cost cutting exercise, splashing out on a data cable for a T28s isn't cheap - i used to have one, but it never worked for more than 10 seconds at a time. Wasted
