Bulb out warning light

Featured Replies

Just setting off from work tonight, put on the lights (Xenon) and after about 1 minute the warning light came on. As there was a car in front. I noticed that my offside main bulb was off. I turned my light off, then on again . They were ALL fine again + no warning light. It hasnt done it since. Anyone have the same experience of this ??

Main bulb was out? Or dip beam?

Sounds like the igniter miss fired possibly, keep an eye on it, probably wont happen again.

I think you have refit xenons? The software of the car is measuring the current for an normal mainlamp, and holds it for an error because the xenon current is lower than a normal mainlamp (35 watt i.s.o. 55 watt) So the lamp is switsched off. Next time the current maybe just enough to cause no error...

Robbo's car has fatory Xenons.
