I have a 2007 Octavia vrs diesel ,

the cruise control and windscreen wiper variable speed has stopped working ,the wiper variable speed for the intermittent does not work ,  

can anyone help with a solution ??..

Need to hook up with diagnostics and see what the steering column control unit is seeing from the switches (if anything). Does the intermittent speed work on the wipers? Or is it just the variable speed not working?

yes the intermitant wipers are working just the variable isn't
