Has anyone found a replacement or managed to successfully change one of these. I had a look on superskoda but it would appear they are not suitable for the Blackline.

Not quite sure what you're after. I successfully replaced the standard 6 speed insert with a 4x4 one for my Scout - it was straightforward and cheaper than buying the actual Scout knob! Is there something to make the Blackline one different from normal?

I don't know but superskoda have a link in the listing for the one you would think would fit the car stating if you have this gear knob it won't fit and then there is a picture of a Blackline gear knob.

That helps. It's two different type of knobs; they changed about 2011. This means Blacklines will all be the newer style, the vRS badge you're looking at is for the older style. That insert won't fit, that's correct, but you could change the whole knob. It's a bit more of a faff but is doable.

Sadly not, it was special order.  It is the OEM part for the later facelift vRS.  With a bit of luck someone will break theirs and want this one off me!

Hi Julie, Looks like the one from mine, does it fit an early 2011 car? If so I would be interested if some one hasnt already called dibs?
