Octavia heater not working at all

Hi all new to this site but looking for help please !

I have a 2007 octavia vrs and the heaters have stopped working altogether I have replaced the heater motor resistor today and no change ! When I operate the dial I can hear some clicking noises and the display on stereo shows the fan and speed adjust for fan ! I have tried a 12 v supply direct to the motor and that's working fine ! Any ideas as to next port of call ? Could if be a switch fault ? Any help guidance will be greatly received

Probably best off in the Octavia II section rather than website issues.

Other than that I'd suggest checking fuses to start with and ideally a VCDS scan to see if there are any error codes stored.

Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another... I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. Hi everyone, I am looking for some insight regarding a fueling issue on my Skoda Octavia 3 RS (2.0 TSI, EA888 Gen 3, CHHA engine, 169kW). The car is currently running an APR Stage 2 tune (ECU + TCU). The issue first appeared right after flashing APR Stage 1 at around 74k km, and now at 86k km, it has become more frequent (sometimes 3x a day, sometimes it gives peace for 2 weeks). The car drives absolutely fine, pulling hard from the bottom without any issues. It never enters limp mode, and there

Hi. I've just had the touchscreen replaced and happy to say everything is all working again with the exception of the clock which is stuck at 12:00. The second hand is still working though. The time on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is working fine and can be adjusted. Can anyone please advise me ho to adjust the clock on the touchscreen when it is in standby mode? Many thanks.

Hello, I activated Smart Link on my swing 3 radio, at Skoda Octavia mk3 MY 2018, so I want to share with everyone how it can be done. DISCLAIMER: You do it at your rensponsability, is not easy to do, and you can mess things out, possible brick you device. Do it only if you have expereince in this kind of activity. Physical tools needed: Tool for removing radio 4 pieces, just google "VAG radio removal tool", cost about 1€. CH341A Mini Programmer, cost about 10€. PC/Laptop Philips screwdriver
