I have had my mk2 since late last year, want to make some subtle changes/upgrades. First on my list is some 18's, preferably Zeniths again.

Opinions please.

Zeniths... tbh, never liked them, I was glad that they changed for FL as I have. 

Other upgrades I think are worthwhile...

1. tints

2. Wheel spacers 

3. painted grille (de-chrome) 

4. remap 

5. lowering suspension, I think the Octy looks on stilts as standard

6. Rear anti roll bar / ALK

Agree about the suspension, always thought it sat a bit high. Quite like to do the painted grill, also would like to change the Skoda badges for the more up to date ones. Easy to do??

I got my grille painted and had both front/rear badges replaced with latest versions at the same time, didn't do it myself though, but it only cost about £90 to get done whilst the same bloke did my alloys (re-coated).

Had a read through and I'm also a new mk2 vrs owner but doesn't have the sat nav unit in.. Anyone have a link for one and are they a straight swap? Cheers

I suggest you search the Octy II owners section... 

It is a straight swap you would need a new surround tho
