Not a Winter Tyre Thread-All Season Tyres

Featured Replies

thank you SO much for this Amanda..... we are wanting all seasons on Ash's abarth, and the tyre size is almost impossible to buy for , BUT they do do maxxis SP2 s in the right size, but I have never found a review for them.... I have used maxxis Z1's (summer) on my car before, and they were pretty good, nice to see the AP2's get a good score! we will be buying them (at only £65 each for 215/40/17) for the abarth :)

I think Maxxis are underrated.  I bought all-season sets for 3 different cars (all 170ish bhp), and they were fine on each.  For my Fabia I sourced a set of MA-SAS which I haven't yet fitted since I "vRS"ed my 69PS Reaction and fitted winter 215/40 17s when I took delivery (in my shorts!) almost 2 years ago exactly.  Time to swap front-to-back at service.

Ive just had 2x Michelin Alpin fitted to the fronts & I'm going to get the cross climate for the rears on payday with the view to in the summer getting the Michelin Alpin replaced with 2x more cross climate for the fronts. where i live is very hilly & last winter was a joke.
