Featured Replies

Guys, great forum. Looking at buying a Fab VRS, but wondering what colour the dash back lighting is ?

Help much appreciated

James.

Welcome to the forum, James

I "believe" the dash lighting is no different to my car, and I'm struggling to remember what colour the lighting is... even though I drive the damn thing so often. I think it's a pale green/yellow/white (any of them) The highlight of the dash though has to be the silver speedo outside though.

Jason - thanks for that. I have a system in my Golf at the moment and would like to carry most of it over to the Fabia - problem is my Becker HU is VW blue - and i'd like to go for another Becker unit to match the Skoda dash.

I'll have to wander down to a dealer and turn the headlights on :)

cheers

James.

My Dad bought the same HU as me, and in his Audi the lights went red, and in mine, the same colour as my dash, which I still can't remember the exact colour of.

How long before you go for some treatment to the engine? :D

Well i'm still thinking about it at the mo, but i've had a fully modded TT (remap, suspension, milltek +cats, porsche brakes), now have a Golf GTI Anniversary PD150 (doing high miles so need a diesel at the moment) which has been revo'd so i'd say if i went for the Fab it would err... stay standard :D :D

I like to play with my cars :)

Take a look at this:

Fabia dials at night!

Fabia vRS dials are different though, but backlighting is the same

No, I actually needed the new speedo after the Jabba remap.

220mph with tail wind. ;)

Damn - the rev counter gave the game away!

any ideas if you can change the colours of the dash?
