hi guys wondering if u can help me car is going off tomoro to have certain bits resprayed car has to be clean before it goes in so have snow foamed with ph neutral snow foam and washed with meguiars gold class shampoo is it worth clay bar the parts that are going in for respray or leaving them alone all help is much appreciated guys

They will have to wet flat the parts to key the surface before paint, so you are waisting your time claying the bits now.

 

Although if you clay the whole car now at least it should be ready to wax when you collect it.

No, you don't need to bother with claying as they'll flatting the paint before spraying. They just want the panels clean so it doesn't clog the sanding pads

It has to be clean.

But then they are going to dewaxing it before then doing the preparation.
