Bolero traffic updates and Traffic Information Messages

I have a Octavia II with a Bolero head unit and have a 45mile commute each day and used to get regular traffic announcements from the radio station which interrupted the CD I was listening to and I could also listen to previously recorded traffic messages via TIM.

But now neither work?

Is there a way of disabling these functions? Have I accidentally done so?

Any help would be appreciated.
