Bluetooth

Featured Replies

My cousin is having issues with the bluetooth in his 60 plate VW Tiguan, I'm assuming it is the equivalent to the Bolero or Columbus. It's touch screen obviously with bluetooth but no satnav.

He can get his Iphone 5 to connect. When making a call it is displayed on the HU, Even the his phonebook is displayed.

For some reason there's no sound either end of the phonecall. The person on the other end of the call can't hear my cousin and he can't hear them.

I've looked through the settings and can only find the option to switch the mic on or off, Neither helps the issue though.

Any ideas?

The mic being damaged would cover not hearing your cousin but the other way is down to the speakers. I would say it is unlikely both aspects are damaged so maybe the BT wiring lock is loose behind the head unit.

Does it ring audibly?

Not too sure tbh. I un-paired his phone from the HU. Just waiting for him to get time to pop round so we can pair it again.

I'll check if there's any ringing sound.
