Fabia VRS fault code P0183

Hoping someone can help me out. Recently brought my wife a VRS 1.9 ASZ, after getting it home the EML light came on, plugged it in to find p0183 showing but states no indicator on show. No other faults were stored for the engine ECU. Checked the wiring as I had similar fault on my A6, no breaks although wiring was really tight to the connector, swapped the sensor with another but fault still present, carried out wiring mod as this is what I did on my Audi, extended the wiring to the connector but still had no joy. I've now checked more of the wiring but it all seems ok, checked the voltage reading and I'm only getting 0.5v. My company Octavia is showing 5v to the same sensor (has been my donor car to rule out faults). Not sure where to go from here as the fault code will not clear and I'm not sure what is causing the issue! Thinking possible ECU fault? Any help would be really appreciated from you guys! Thanks
