Speaker plug adaptors

Featured Replies

Im sure someone once mentioned that you could get adaptor plugs that fit onto the oem speaker plugs and give you free wire to solder to replacement speakers.

Anyone know where these come from?

Looked at the bluespot website to no avail.

Think Halfords do 'em. If you're looking for a non-permanent solution, you can actually wedge the speaker wire into the connector and it hold pretty well. If you want it extra secure, bit of sturdy sticky tape will do the job...

Bodge-tastic!

As an alternative idea, rather than cutting the connectors off i could just strip some insulation and solder the new speaker

wires to them, covering everything in insulation.

Make reversal at sale time a cinch.
