Octavia 1.6 estate 2014

Have owned this car for 5 months and just appeared in display between rev. counter and speedometer a new message "No entries available"  ---Main display is reading ok -- how can I get entries back?

I only know because I did this myself, drove round for a day with this message wondering what had happened then started pressing any button I could find until it went away.   Ah the joys of a technical education!
