Hello FREEDOM Life. I have an Octavia L&K 2002 with a 1.9TDI AHF engine and an EGS gearbos. I have to replace the gearbox, the gearbox still works perfectly but has lost all its oil and the housing is broken. When I was looking for a replacement in certain cases although it was a code EGS I was told that it did not fit my 2002 Octavia. Is the code EGS unique or are there variations? The local Skoda rep says that is the only reference.

No problem..... on the gearbox detail you require - have a look in the Octavia Mk1 section; or start a thread...
