I have an annoying creaking noise coming from around the Interior Light Console area, it sounds like it's rubbing against the headlining. On really bad roads (normal) it turns into a fast tapping and creaking noise, Happens all the time on country roads. Has anyone else had this and how to fix it, as a last resort I will take it back to the dealer but that's 20 miles and a morning gone.

No panoramic sunroof.I have the overhead glasses box, yes I have removed the glasses, you wouldn't think such a small thing could be so annoying I think it's because it's just above my head. Is it easy to remove the unit? It may be a loose wire.

This on here could help with lowering the light console, read down a bit as I think it's possible without removing part of it..

I also have a creak from this area. I think it started when I fitted the specs storage and fitted led lights.

It's plastic chittering against plastic - little you can do except possibly lubricate without marking the headlining, or else pack everything so tightly nothing can move.

I just ignore it now, it's so minor in the scheme of things.

CRC Silicone spray 'dry lube' using the supplied straw.

Easy, quick and for me permanent so far when used on my instrument binnacle.
