Bloomin' Netscape and/or Dreamweaver!!!

Featured Replies

I've just had to spend the whole day making a clone of a website that I'm doing for my work, just so it'll work in Netscape! I've been using Dreamweaver to make it, and it works great in Internet Explorer, but for whatever reason, Netscape inserts a line break at the start of the first paragraph in a layer, which skews all the subsequent text. :thumbdwn:

I've now had to insert a script into the homepage that tells you whether or not you're using IE, and gives you the option of accessing the Netscape-compatible site.

I therefore have two questions, that I hope someone on here will be able to answer:

1. Does anyone know any coding tips so that I don't need to make multiple clones of the website just to make the text display correctly (with all the admin woes that'll come with it), and if not,

2. Does anyone know if this is just a problem in Netscape, or am I going to have to make a version for Safari as well?

All suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
