My car was registered in 2006, if I put 2006 in it doesn't work. If I change the year to 2007 it does.

Possibly a MY2007 car, registered in 2006?

Seeing as the model year starts half way through the year (I.e. MY2007 starts in the second half of 2006) it is. But that website asks when the car was first registered, which was 2006.
