Front Parking Sensor Replacement - Bumper Off or Not?

Featured Replies

I have found out that the front left inner parking sensor is faulty (not clicking) and have tried to remove it, but only with a brief look/attempt, by taking out the removable end part of the lower grille. I can reach the sensor, just, but it won't go back far enough to remove because it hits the polystyrene shock absorber behind the bumper.

Has anyone found an easy way to get the sensors out without having to completely remove the bumper?

Thanks in anticipation, John.

You have to take the bumper off even to change the indicator bulbs so I'd say bumper off is a certainty
