Retrofit - Auto dimming side mirrors

Gents,

Auto dimming side mirrors retrofit for O2 has been detaily described for several times but I could not find any information regarding to O3. I wonder how it is in O3. I have auto dimming internal mirror part no  5G0857511D therefore according to ETKA, compatible with "6XK Exterior mirrors: automatically dimming, electrically foldable/adjustable/heated".   My external mirrors are electrically foldable/adjustable/heated. The question is: if retrofit in O3 is similar to O2:
1.Adding cables from internal mirror to driver/passenger door controllers, and adding cables from door controller to side mirror.
2. door controller just electrically cross the signals, nothing more, isn't it? No additional coding needed.
Has anybody tried to  do such retrofit? I would be grateful for advice.  Wiring diagram would be helpful.
