Hi all,

Ideas please, I have a 2007 2.0 ltr tdi auto estate, and my c/control keeps knocking itself off. When engine has been turned off and on again the amber light will re-appear, and all ok.

Once when on a motorway in c/c it just switched off whilst driving!!

Thanks in anticipation for any advice.

Any other warning lights or problems i.e. traction control?

Is switch ok? Some can get abit groggy and need a clean with contact cleaner

Or re-soldering the connectors, as (both) has been mentioned numerous times, for a more permanent solution.

Search :- cruise control on this forum.

It has been covered loads of times mate. (I see you are a newbie).

Should give you a good insight into the probable problem.

Generally easily sorted. I soldered the connectors, and have not had this problem arise since.
