Service light

Featured Replies

Morning all.

Does the Fabia's have a service light at all?

Depending on what your dash is its usually a spanner symbol.

Yeah itll ping up.

You can view the time and distance till a service is due too, on both MFD or Maxidot.

On the MFD you have to press the left of the two buttons iirc. Cant remember if its short press or hold it in for abit.

Stuart-h,

are you asking following on from the post in the Octavia Section about changing from Variable to Fixed Servicing?

I sure am!

I'm running 2 Octavia's and my dad has a fabia.

Not dead certain for all models, but I think you might well get a message that extends as "Service due in N hundred miles" on start up when you get within 1_000 miles or 1 month of service, irrespective of whether you're running fixed or variable, in place of the total and trip mileage display.

cheers guys :)

That is the thing, the Mk2 Fabia is from 2007 then the Face Lift models,

so different cars and models and types of dash and service warnings, spanners or messages.

Even our base model 2005 Polo E with windey windows n what not said 'insp' on the display then counted down the miles.

Fabia must do something or other even on 2007 cars.

But yeah i agree. It varies (:

A vehicle with a DSG can have a 'flashing spanner' when the gearbox is overheating.
