Probably an easy one but I still haven't managed to find out, how does one set the radio stations for them to appear within the presets?

Read the manual for your stereo unit? If you don't have one a Google search will find the manual for most models.

I assume (can’t remember how I did it) that it’s the same as just about every modern headhunit - tune the station in then press (and hold) the preset button you want it stored (1 to 6 etc) until it either beeps or flashes at you.
